Our last game of the season did not start without its fair share of drama and controversy. We were forced to play with 6 due to soccer-related suspension, so we played 6 vs. 7. I know what you are thinking, and you are right-- playing a man down did not slow down the machine much. We dominated the game from the beginning and went on to a 49-22 victory.

At this point we are just excited for the next phase of the season. We were ranked #18 overall at BYU and #3 overall in division II intramural flag football. Stay tuned for our first post-season game next Saturday as our drive to the SHIP begins...

GAME 4 : An Old Veteran Returns to Glory

Final score: 28-6

Yet another win in the books, except this time we were joined under the lights by an old vet, Tyson Bills. Tyson claims he was in town for business, although we really think IM football was his primary objective for the trip. Even after a few years removed from the game, Ty put together quite a game on both sides of the field -- pulling in a Touchdown, an extra point and an interception. When asked about his performance after the game Tyson simply stated, "What else did you expect?" -- Let's just say he didn't like the reporter's response.

Other notable performances were had by Jordan Cushman, who's finally back on the roster after a mid-season hiatus and Mark Tchaggeny -- who's been a shut down corner and offensive threat all season. Missing in the lineup was Paul Davis, who's recently been in the media spotlight regarding an allegation that he's been playing for two teams at the same time. When asked about this, he assured team ownership that his allegiance lies here at Glory Days. Good decision Paul.

ESPN put together a little highlight reel for Game 4 since they blew the live coverage once again......enjoy.

GAME 3 : Weekend Warriors

Our first weekend game of the season followed the same script as the previous two games. It got ugly really fast for our opponent as we quickly ran away with a 28-0 lead by half. I'm not sure if it was a strong step-in performance by Mike Foulger or if it was the decision to break out the McMahon jersey, but everything seemed to go right on Saturday. The game ended 40-6 with great performances all around. Most notable came on the defensive side as our D had a big afternoon with 6 interceptions. Now that we're 3-0, maybe we'll start getting some love from Lee Corso and the gang on Game Day. Toward the end of the game we saw several fans throwing tortillas onto the field... an obvious gesture for a Fiesta Bowl bid. I guess only time will tell.

Next game is 2 weeks away and we'll have an old alumnus join us on the field. That's right, Tyson's going to be in town for a game -- Aikman jersey and 2nd string quarterback controversy and all.

GAME 2: Lights, Camera, Action!

With ESPN bailing on us at the last second on a deal that would have given us primetime coverage for all our games, the best we can do at the moment is mixed media pics & clips. Here's the recap -- Game 2 was a 44-0 slaughter fest -- a blitzkreig of defensive & offensive firepower. Are we really that good, you ask?? Well, judge for yourself....

When asked after the game where The Glory Days hopes to go from here, center Dallin Bills stated, "We just need to take it one game at a time right now. Humility is the name of the game right now -- we just need to take all this success and media attention in stride."

Game 1: Off and Running

Off to a quick start, The Glory Days kicked off the season with a 21-0 victory. The team depicted up top might have given our opponent a decent game. They weren't quite a ward team, but close. Still have to work out a couple kinks on defense, but a good win to start the season. Thanks for tuning in, and until next week.

Are you ready for some football?

With August minicamp having drawn to a close, the team is itching to lace up the game cleats and get on the field. It's been a tough month at camp, full of weight training, conditioning, film sessions and practice. In all, camp has been a success -- the offense is looking sharp and there haven't been any team drama to speak of. There are still some questions on the defensive side of the ball, but those should work themselves out over the first few games.

So buckle up, sit back, and get ready for a wild season. Glad to have you aboard.
